This course runs on Thursday 25th May, 10.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 26th May 10.00am – 5.00pm and includes all food and beverages.
A 2 day course for technology SMEs with sections aimed at technical and non-technical leaders to understand how to manage technology suppliers and / or teams, and to understand options for scaling infrastructure, storage and hosting.
There’s lots of advice out there about how to recruit, or build a successful team, but not some much on getting the technology right in your technology start-up or scale-up. This 2-day course will give a health check for anyone building a technology company on how you need to be managing your developers and your services to scale your company without problems down the line. Hear from experienced CTOs and the big companies there to support you including Amazon Web Services.
We encourage you to bring at least 2 leaders from your team – 1 technical and 1 non-technical. Day 1 will be aimed at those managing technology teams, whether you have developers in house or are outsourcing your product development to and external company. On Day 2 we’ll get more into the technical nitty-gritty, so your technical lead may need to translate (!) but we hope non-technical leads will join for a baptism of fire (the more you understand what your teams understand, the easier it will be to manage them).
Day 1 (aimed at non-technical directors / CEOs)
